When U.S. Border Patrol Agent Christian Rivera discovers the body of an undocumented alien in the middle of the vast Sonoran Desert with three enigmatic words carved into her flesh, presumably by her own hand, it triggers a frantic search for the remainder of her party, a group of twenty-five men and women who have inexplicably vanished into the desert.

Aided by two of the agency’s best trackers, Rivera follows the woman’s trail into the brutal heart of one of the hottest and most unforgiving landscapes on the planet, where nothing can survive for long. As more bodies turn up, Rivera and the others begin to realize they may be up against an enemy far deadlier than the desert, an unseen adversary that will stop at nothing to take from them what it needs to survive. A mythical evil that may not be myth at all, but horrifically real, could very well be stalking them, and their only hope of surviving the same fate that befell the missing party lies in deciphering the clues to their disappearance before it’s too late. If it isn’t already…

From Michael McBride, bestselling author of Burial Ground and Snowblind, comes Sunblind, a thrilling new novel of terror and action that will take you on an unforgettable journey from the desperate streets of Mexico, through the deadliest corridor in the world, to a place where mankind was never meant to tread.

  2. I read this book twice in a matter of weeks! I loved this book the best of all his books. Will there be a sequel? Please!

    • Hey, Mike! I’m glad you liked it so much! You made my day. As far as a sequel? I left it open to write one when inspiration strikes, but who knows when that might be. Sorry not to give you anything resembling a straight answer. 😉

I have been trying to order a copy of Sunblind for my Kindle for months now, but it’s not available on Amazon any longer. It’s just…gone…. I’m not exaggerating when I say that I am pretty certain that I own virtually all of your novels except Sunblind… Any ideas when I might be able to purchase this one again? Please help.

    • Hey, Marc! Thanks for dropping a line. When DarkFuse–publisher of ANCIENT ENEMY, F9, SNOWBLIND I and II, SUNBLIND, and UNIDENTIFIED–went out of business on July 1, the books went out of print. I decided that rather than self-publish them, I’d try to find another publisher who could help the books reach a broader audience. While an agreement was reached in June–one that I thought would lead to a fairly seamless transition–the process, unfortunately, is still ongoing. I hope to have news on that front in the very near future. Rest assured, these books will see the light of day again soon. I truly appreciate your patience. 🙂

I sincerely appreciate the info – glad I already purchased all the others on that list. I’ll keep looking for Sunblind to show up. I guess this is as good a platform as any to throw out appropriate compliments… As several of my comments on Amazon can attest, each of your books that I have read thus far has been simply stunning. I just finished Fearful Symmetry about an hour ago and just saying thank you for a great novel just doesn’t seem enough, but that’s all I can do. Thank you. Absolutely outstanding. What I said on my Amazon review 2 months ago is accurate, the minute I finished Snowblind (my first McBride novel), I immediately purchased 13 of your other novels – literally within an hour. Now I have 21 of your books on my Kindle and none that I’ve read through so far have been short of superb. Please keep writing them and I will absolutely keep buying them!

  4. Man, you absolutely made my day! Thank you so much for the kind words. I really appreciate it. 21 books?! Have I really released that many? Where does the time go?
